The Sager Laboratory of cardiovascular inflammation at the Department of Cardiology is seeking a PhD student (m/f/d).
The „European Research Council starting grant“ research group of Dr. Hendrik Sager is looking to recruit a highly motivated PhD student to join a dynamic international research team at the German Heart Center Munich, department of cardiology. Based on new mechanistic understanding, we seek to develop novel therapeutic concepts. We are part of the German Heart Center Munich and aim translate our findings to better understand and improve human health. We are funded by the “European Research Council (ERC Starting Grant 2017 awarded to H. Sager)”, „Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft“, „Deutsches Zentrum für Herz-Kreislauf-Forschung“, „Else-Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung“ and „Deutsche Herzstiftung“.
